Nuvo Embellishment Mousse: Create a Card That’s Out of This World!

Nuvo Embellishment Mousse is one of those craft stash items we just LOVE here at Create and Craft – because it enables you to add colour, texture and shine… all with just one product! Here, our crafty contributor Shabneez Khan-Muztar, shows you all the awesome ways you can use this fantastic medium in just one project! Check out her step-by-step cardmaking tutorial below, and discover a crafty must-have that’s simply out of this world!

You Will Need:

Using Embellishment Mousse:

Look at the variety of ways you can use this incredibly versatile medium on a single project!  You can use it to paint, add texture, and create a background… and all with a stunning subtle sheen.

Step 1:

Put some old navy mousse on your glass mat and add water to create a thick paint consistency. Using a flat paintbrush, paint onto watercolour card to form your background.

Step 2:

Take your stencil and place it over the dry navy mousse. Take some citrus green mousse and mix it on your glass mat to get it to a smooth consistency, before applying it through your stencil.

Step 3:

Take off the stencil and you should have an awesome space-themed background! Matt and layer onto a black piece of card.

Step 4:

Stamp your images, and colour using a waterbrush dipped into the mousse.

Step 5:

Cut out the stamped and painted images, and adhere with double-sided foam tape onto your background, together with a sentiment. And there you have it – an incredible card that’s totally out of this world, thanks to all the fantastic ways you can use embellishment mousse!
