Sarah Hurley’s Birthday Party Hats

Sarah Hurley’s Birthday Party Hats

“For this project, I used the We Are Memory Keepers Party Punchboard, making it quick and simple to whip up a bunch of Birthday Party Hats in no time at all!” – Sarah Hurley

You Will Need:

How to Make Birthday Party Hats:

Start with a 12″ x 12” sheet of card. Put it into the corner of the board and hold in place.

Snap the two guides in place on the board to make a big or little hat (for pets or babies!).

Make two cuts using the special cutting tool running it along the guides.

Use super strength tape (I used some thicker regular strength double-sided tape along the side too as I added weighty wool pom-poms and I wanted to give it some extra hold!).

Twist in place and secure.

I also added a strip of Magic invisible tape along the inside too for a bit of extra security.

Decorate your hats however you’d like! I added a wool pom-pom to the top and lots of smaller colourful pom-poms along the bottom, using Pinflair gel glue to keep them securely in place. You could even add ribbon or elastic to help keep them in place on your head if you have some serious partying in mind! – Sarah x
