You will need:

Step 1:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 1 Boats

Using your ScanNCut, add the sailboat from the seaside mobile folder from the Sunshine Days USB to your mat. Delete all images except the two sailboats, and one each of the sails. Select all, centralize vertically and horizontally, and resize to 1.75” x 2”. Cut the boat out of the kraft card, then cut one sail out of red card and the other out of blue card.

Step 2:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 2 Mounting Glitter Card

Using the ScanNCut, cut a rectangle measuring 6.75” x 4.75” out of blue glitter card, and stick to the card blank.

Step 3:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 3 Stamping Boats

Cut a rectangle measuring 6.5” x 4.5” out of white card. Using the small silhouette of a sailboat from the ‘Ahoy Matey’ stamp set and the blue ink, stamp around the edge of the white card.

Helen’s helpful hint:

Stamp some of the images off the edge of the card to create an interesting and unique pattern. Place your card onto a glass mat so the residue ink can be simply wiped away, so as not to mark your work space. Also, because you will be covering up the centre of the card blank, save time and only stamp where the images will be seen!

Step 4:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 4 Cutting Rectangles

Cut a rectangle measuring 6.25” x 4.25” out of four shades of blue card.

Step 5:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 5 Stamping Clouds

Glue the sky blue card to the white stamped card, and glue both to the glitter card. Then, using the small cloud stamp and the blue ink, stamp the top of the sky blue card.

Step 6:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 6 Waves

Gently tear the other three pieces of blue card to create waves.

Step 7:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 7 Glue Card

Glue the baby blue card to the sky blue card.

Step 8:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 8 Foam Tape

Stick the royal blue card down using the thin foam tape.

Step 9:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 9 3D Shaker Foam

Glue the sailboat to the card, then stick the navy blue card down using 3D shaker foam.

Step 10:Pretty Sail Boat Card Step 10 Sentiment

Cut a rectangle measuring 1” x 2” out of white card, stamp the sentiment, and glue to the card.

Helen’s helpful hint:

When stamping a sentiment try using a precision stamping tool for accuracy.

You now have yourself a nautical themed greetings card, fit to sail the seven seas!
