Project Life Scrapbook: Our Events Executive Tests The Project [Interview]

‘Tis the season to get married, and our lovely C&C Events Executive has tested out our new Project Life Scrapbook to help tell the story of how she is planning her big day. We’ve interviewed our very own Sam for you so you can see first-hand how special the scrapbooks really are. Remember to catch the show which launches on Thursday 27th July and drop us a comment with your thoughts!

What have you chosen to scrapbook about and why?

My other half Phil proposed to me last October, and we are getting married this coming November, so it seems the perfect opportunity to document this big stage in our life.

What is it about scrapbooking your special day that you find so appealing?

I liked the idea of not just scrapbooking about the proposal and the wedding, but also about the planning process and the special people we have in our lives and why we want them as part of our wedding.

How would you describe your scrapbooking style, and how did Project Life help you discover and achieve that style?

To be honest, I hadn’t done much scrapbooking before, but generally my crafting style is quite ‘thrown together’… I loved using Project Life because it meant I could still ‘throw it together’ but it looked amazing and like I had really thought about matching everything up – but it was so simple and easy to play with ideas!

What were the benefits of using your Project Life scrapbook?

Scrapbooking, in general, is the perfect way of not only beautifully presenting your important photos and life moments, but also for annotating them and telling your story. I love how with the Project Life system you get everything you need and it all co-ordinates together. It’s so easy to just slot in the cards and photos and make a great display in very little time. That then gives you the time to really look back at what you’ve done and write something about the photos, and because things slot in and out its easy to change things around if you’re not quite happy with the layout, or if you make a mistake.

What were your favourite elements Project Life/scrapbooking?

The Becky Higgins collection I was using had some absolutely GORGEOUS gold foiling elements in there, they stand out beautifully and I just love them!

Who do you think Project Life scrapbooks would appeal to and why?

This product is perfect for anyone that wants to be able to record their life events, big or small, in a beautiful keepsake that is easy to start, put down, pick up again and add to whenever is convenient to you. I can imagine this would also make a great gift to a new bride and groom, or expectant parents who have something special to document, but want the ease of creating it quickly and simply.

So there you have it, Crafties! We hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into our Events Exec’s personal life and feel inspired to start scrapbooking. Tune in from 27th July for the New & Exclusive Project Life launch.
