Time it takes to make: 1 hour
Skill Level: Intermediate
You Will Need:
- Ivory card
- Kraft card
- Wooden letters/wording
- String
- Xcut Ornate Frames die set
- Xcut Family Tree die set
- Tattered Lace Painted Rose Embossing Folder
- Die cutting machine
- Guillotine
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- Glue gun and glue
- PVA glue
- Foam pads
Family Tree Picture Step by Step:
Step 1:
Cut the large ornate frame in the ivory cardstock.
Step 2:
Emboss the centre from the ornate frame using an embossing folder.
Step 3:
Cut a piece of Kraft card a little larger than the frame, and glue the frame onto the kraft card. Next, attach the embossed centre of the frame using foam pads.
Step 4:
Die-cut the elements shown from the Family Tree die set, or use similar style dies from your own collection.
Step 5:
Using a glue gun, attach the wooden letters to the hearts and banner as shown. You can then attach the tree, hearts and banner to your project.
Step 6:
Using a hole punch, make a hole in the top corners of your project and tie a piece of string through to make a hanger. Now you can hang your bespoke family tree picture on the wall, or wrap it up ready to give someone special a very thoughtful gift!
