Print out the pattern and trace on to the centre of your fabric with a water erasable pen. Then put your fabric into the hoop, ensuring that it is taught.

Step 3:

Use a back stitch and then the wrapped stitch for the stems of the flowers. I have used full strands (6) in green and lighter shades of green for the wrapped stitch.

Try to keep all the back working hidden by hiding the loose ends behind the stitches in the back of the piece.

Step 4:

To make the buds/flowers, use the french knot stitch on and around the top of the stems in the 3 shades of purple.

Step 5:

Remove your piece from the hoop and use a damp sponge to remove the water erasable pen marks, and leave to dry.

Step 6:

Hot glue the fabric to the hoop (be very careful using a glue gun as they are very hot!) Then glue some twine round the hoop back, to hide where you have glued the fabric.
