Mix equal parts white acrylic with your blue and pink chalkboard paint, and paint your ornaments. You may need to give two coats, so let dry completely in-between each coat. A hairdryer will help!
Dampen a cotton bud, and use this to create small dots all over your ornaments. Keep dipping every two or three dots, and go over them once they’re dry if you need to. HINT: Replace the cotton bud often to avoid fly away strands of wool spoiling your paint effect.
If you feel confident writing freehand, go ahead and write 'Clue', 'Look', 'Here' etc. on your ornaments with a chalk pen. If not, print out some templates, scribble over the back, and transfer onto your ornament using a sharp pencil or pen. Now trace over with your chalk pen.
Print out some clues on coloured card, and attach to your ornaments using ribbon.
Hide in the garden and prepare for some Easter fun!
