Continue with this pattern of 4 rows of red and 2 rows of white until you have 4 red sections and 3 white sections in total.

Going anti-clockwise, slip stitch around 3 edges of the popcorn bucket to neaten up, leaving the last edge as it is (your final row of DC will have finished this off nicely already). Sew in ends.

Now with yellow, make the popcorn on top:

R1: Ch40

R2: *Skip 1 stitch, 5TR in the next st, SS into the next st* – repeat 10 times to the end of the base chain.

Sew to the top of your popcorn bucket with 5 “bumps”  at the forefront and fold back round to sew the remaining popcorn “bumps” behind.

To crochet the “POP” writing do the following for each letter in white:

Ch15, fasten off then using the tails, sew into the shapes of the letters onto the popcorn bucket.

Continue making as many of these popcorn buckets as you require for your scarf, and sew them together (bucket edge to bucket edge so that the popcorn sticks out).
