Christmas Quilled Gift Tags:

We tasked the talented Carla Bagshaw with creating a selection of quirky quilled designs to decorate Christmas gift tags - and she hasn't disappointed! First up is the fabulous Rudolph, with his infamous red nose, created using quilling strips in just four colours, and tightly curled layered circles. This gorgeous design is the perfect way to add festive fun to your gifts!

It wouldn't be Christmas without a visit from the big guy in red - which is why we love this second design by Carla - a jolly Santa Clause, complete with intricately quilled beard and moustache, and signature red hat. Each design is adhered onto plain white card, which is matted and layered onto a coloured gift tag for a professional quality finish.

Adding Recipients' Names:

Of course, if you don't want to use gift tags, there are plenty of other creative ways to label up your gifts... here are just a few ideas from Penelope Quinn!

Stamped Christmas wrapping

If you plan on using plain wrapping paper, then stamping each recipient's name atopĀ  their gift is a great way to personalise their package!Embellished Christmas wrapping

As well as using stamps, you can also get creative with embellishments - think scrabble letters, peel-offs, pretty die-cut letters, and more! We just love how each of these parcels has been beautifully finished off with seasonal twine, too!Labelled Christmas wrapping

Now here's an idea that's bound to get some attention under the tree - adding your recipient's name to a leaf using permanent marker! choose a metallic ink for a truly Christmassy feel, and attach it to your twine or ribbon using a mini peg, a glue gun, or simply tie it in with a bow.

Decorative Christmas Wrapping Ideas:

Gifts decorated with pine cones

We love plain wrapping paper, because it's a total blank canvas for your creativity! Nestle festive foliage, berries and pine cones beneath festive coloured twine to bring your gifts to life!Gifts decorated with cinnamon and rosemary

Or why not experiment with scent and sound? Try tucking springs of rosemary and cinnamon sticks beneath mini jingle bells... it'll sound like Santa's on his way as you hand out your gifts!

Gifts decorated with wire stars

Of course, you could also opt to go big and bold with your Christmas wrapping ideas, and choose a single statement embellishment for each gift. These pretty stars make for a simple yet satisfying wire-bending project, whilst wooden shapes can be painted, decoupaged, or left blank - whatever suits your style!
